I run Barbarus Branding & Design Co., a freelance graphic design studio focused on branding, print, and digital design. I base my work on effective frameworks and thoughtful processes that I've built to help me create distinctive, meaningful visuals for each and every one of my clients.

Methodology.
Design Philosophy.
A project should be able to look good and make perfect sense, without one coming at the expense of the other. Good design is composed, coherent, and easy to use with decisions guided by hierarchy, readability, and purpose. Visual systems should be flexible enough to adapt across different contexts and formats while remaining consistent and recognizable.
Approach & Values
I value simplicity, solid processes, and straightforward communication. Design decisions should be rooted in intent and reasoning, while usability should be part of the process from the very beginning. The goal is to create work that's sustainable over time and performs well within real-world applications.
Influence, Skills, Expertise
I'm inspired by Swiss International Design Styles, hardcore and alternative music, fantasy imagery and storytelling, American Traditional tattoos and illustrations, and the punk and street art movement. My strengths lie in building visual identities, branding, communicating information via effective grids and layouts, and creating digital experiences that feel intuitive.

My processes are built to be consistent, streamlined, and client-focused. Like I've said: It all starts with listening. This means understanding what the client needs, what they feel is missing, and what their desired outcomes look like. A structured workflow helps keep projects efficient and ensures you know what to expect at every stage of the project.

Discovery
You will complete a discovery form before the first meeting. This will allow us to focus immediately on your goals, preferences, and overall direction. Once I get the form, we'll jump into a call to kick things off.

Design & Development
Concepts are built around the project goals, then developed into a focused direction. The work is shaped with intent so it functions properly in real-world applications and not just in presentations.
Review & Revision
I'll get you to review the work and provide feedback, followed by a structured revision phase. At this point, the aim is to refine what matters most and make considered improvements; not to endlessly adjust details without any purpose.

Finalization & Handover
Once approved, all final files, assets, and any relevant guidelines will be prepared and delivered via a personalized dropbox. Everything is organized for practical use, so the work can be applied confidently without confusion.
