Responsive UI design for FInsider, a Formula 1 news application designed in Figma. The project focused on building a scalable interface system for motorsport news, media content, account access, and app navigation across mobile screens.
Project Details
FInsider was developed as a news app concept with a focus on repeatable UI patterns and a strong visual system. The interface needed to support image-heavy articles, breaking news, account registration, and user settings without becoming difficult to scan or overly busy.
The design process included wireframes, a typographic system, colour guidelines, and reusable interface components. A bold red, carbon black, and neutral palette anchors the visual direction, drawing from the speed and intensity associated with Formula 1 while keeping the interface practical for reading and navigation.
Day and night mode screens were created to support different viewing conditions, with layouts adjusted for contrast, readability, and interaction states. Components such as buttons, cards, and content containers were built to remain consistent across different sections of the app.
The final system presents FInsider as a responsive digital product with a focused motorsport identity, structured content hierarchy, and enough flexibility to handle different types of news and media without rebuilding the interface every time the content changes.
